Dawah: Calling Unto God
Outreach
Reaching wider society with the message of Islam through school visits, mosque visits, and guest speaking.
By the grace of Allah ﷻ, we have the responsibility to introduce thousands of young people to the message of Islam every year. Turath Institute has established relationships with two dozen primary schools in Nottingham and the surrounding area, contributing to the RE curriculum every year.

Accredited
Shaykh Dylan "Ibrahim" Whitney is an accredited school speaker with RE Hubs.

Shahada and after-care
Turath Institute has facilitated over 100 shahadas and shahada after-care interventions in Nottingham and the surrounding area last year.
As a convert to Islam, our leader, Shaykh Ibrahim Whitney, has a special relationship with those who found Allah ﷻ and those still on their journey to Him.

Street Dawah
From the bustling high streets to the heart of every major city, Turath Institute is bringing the message directly to the people of Great Britain through interactive Dawah stalls and nationwide tours. By engaging openly in the public square, we do more than just share our faith; we actively contribute to the rich British tradition of free speech. We believe that meaningful dialogue and the peaceful exchange of ideas are vital to a flourishing society, and our presence across the country ensures that authentic heritage remains a vibrant, accessible part of the national conversation.

Our consultancy is built on a foundation of deep Religious Literacy and EDI (Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) expertise, ensuring that all sessions are fully aligned with the Equality Act 2010.
By utilizing experienced trainers and Independent Hate Crime Advocates, we provide organizations with the professional framework necessary to identify systemic bias and manage incidents effectively. We empower your leadership and staff to move beyond basic compliance toward a culture of genuine psychological safety, making Turath a premier partner for religious inclusion in the British workplace.

Mission Statement
The Turath Institute is dedicated to reviving and transmitting traditional Islamic knowledge, rooted in turāth and isnād. Our work is guided by a theocentric worldview, grounded in classical texts, methods, and scholarly lineages. We prioritise authentic Islamic pedagogy and aim to produce scholars formed through rigorous study and spiritual discipline. By remaining anchored in tradition, we offer a meaningful alternative to prevailing secular paradigms in education and leadership, while engaging our context with clarity, purpose, and integrity.
